Tamar Manasseh is an anti-gun violence activist, a community leader, mother of two, and rabbi. She was named Chicagoan of the Year in 2016. She has received awards from Ebony Magazine, National Organization of Women, The C.F. Stradford awarded by the Cook County States Attorney’s office, and is a Jewish Women’s International Honoree.
